In honor of October being "Breast Cancer Awareness" month I would like to make people remember how lucky they are. Some of us are extremely ill and are dying of diseases such as cancer, but others are very healthy and fit. We are all lucky in our own way even if we don't understand how, I would just like to ask everybody reading this if they could just take a minute to think about just how lucky they are.

Some people take things for granted and until we don't have something anymore or we fall ill we don't realise how much it can affect our lives. Most people don't think about it until it hits them. What I am trying to say is that treat everyday as if it was your last because you don't know whats coming round the corner, nobody does.
All the people fighting battles against illnesses keep fighting because I believe that if you want something so bad you can have it along as you fight for it!

My mother had breast cancer, has hard as it was to watch her go through it, she found an amazing amount of strength in the process. She learned a lot about herself.
I hear you. Thanks for reminding us of how lucky we are!
Very excellent and thoughtful.
check your email...
You're absolutely right! I truly believe that those of us who are worst off in this country are still amazingly blessed compared to others in the world.
You've all heard the poem, Footsteps in the Sand? When we go through the hard times, we need to remember that Jesus is carrying us (even though it often doesn't seem so).
Thanks for the reminder about Oct. being Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Seems like we've all been touched, directly or indirectly by that horrific disease.
Thanx
