You should never trust anyone except yourself, people lie, they will
usually tell you what you want to hear instead of the truth. Some people are evil, some people
don't care about others, they just want whats best for themselves. Why
shouldn't they? Why should they care?

I've found that while there are people that you cannot trust, there are substantially more that you can trust. The trustworthy people more than make up for the rest (trust me on this).
